EDEN-GARDEN
You knew my name long before I was born
When Meningitis captured me, you were at my side
Your angels descended upon me when there was no hope
You whispered and I survived
Your key unlocked my brain when I was three
but my voice was never free
No one cared except you
Ignorant voices told me: "You'll be forever an idiot"
In Heaven you just smiled
In my heart a small fire started
A wolf in sheepskin gnawed my innocence
My brain was closed
Your heavenly heart broke still I had to go through
You opened my eyes slowly
Happiness was endorsed in my blood
A smile mask I wore
Ice winds and snow covered my life
I fought against iron steels
Every step my hand was in yours
When I fell on my face
Your angels picked me up
God, you gave me strength when I lost all mine
Bitter-wine tears splattered over my face
When I stood in the intersection of life or death
You let me chose Life
On angels' wings I flew
Suddenly you let me join the Discovery Channel
I felt a new woman
I wed Freedom or so I thought
Winter came like an invisible landmine
I was thrown into the deepest, darkest despair-tunnel
Again you were there by my side
The angels' door opened and I walked through
When I'm hungry your angels feed me
You give me feathers and shoes
God, you dried my pain-blood tears
When nightmares steal my dreams
You blustered them away with your voice
Lord, only you know how I battle with my fears every day
You seem to understand my demons
Again I'm in the intersection of life or death
Please God, let me sign on the dotted line of life
Only you know the sea-hearts of evil
Grant me a life-freedom card
From now on let me dwell in your Eden-garden of peace, love and security
