ANOTHER CHANCE

The first time our writing met

I knew our destiny was set

Still I struggled in my butterfly cocoon

Your words sword fought with the dark-moon

In a universal second you unlock my soul sleep

Destiny floods flooded our thoughts; still we tried to intercept them

calf-talk glowed out of our fingertips

We went on our fantasy trips

Our souls danced in my womb

We walked hand in hand through your mind room

in your spaceship eyes anything is possible

You're a historical angel, phenomenal

Then you walked away

My soul turned gray

Did you want your insecurities to snooze

Was I too near the real you

You commanded your black words to blow

Our destiny boat sailed windless out my harbour heart

Now my poem words plead; give us a second start

I'll love you unconditionally

I can't turn this love off like electricity

There's no fear

You'll never lose a lonely rider tear

I want to be your compass when you're lost

There'll be no more heartbreak cost

I want to be the wind beneath your wings

I want to be your early morning drinks

Please Darling; give our destiny love another chance
