Three Miles of Rice Pudding is mainly a non-fiction work that looks at Utopia, governance and the Commons. The Commons is understood to be shared resources, but in the work this is explored as also about the social relations around resources and our own individual acts of ‘commoning’. These considerations lead in turn to an exploration of governance. And all of this leads towards a new story - an alternative version of utopia suitable for the modern age.
