Features of college education
Many students of college feel a certain inferiority complex in relation to the chosen place of education. But in no case it is not recommended, because the study in the university and college in its structure practically does not differ, in addition the specialized secondary school becomes a kind of "low start" for obtaining further higher education. But about these nuances a little later.
So, in college, students study in semesters, take exams, and also have a rest during the summer and winter holidays. Not only that, but as a way of teaching, there are also lectures and seminars, which in principle take place within the walls of higher educational institutions.
In college, pupils write essays all the time. It's tricky because every essay needs to be proofread to be sure of it.
So there is not much difference; the only important thing to note is that a university provides more in-depth knowledge in the future specialty, a college rather basic.
Nowadays, the education system is more often dominated by multidisciplinary colleges, which include not only technical, but also humanities, economics, creative, law, sociology and other important specialties in life.
So each applicant can independently make a choice and personally determine which future profession is closer to him in spirit and perception.
Now for the benefits. As a rule, many colleges have agreements with universities that allow their graduates to enter universities on preferential terms, right into the third year.
For example, very often a college's final exams become university entrance exams, and this is very advantageous. According to statistics, a large proportion of students who are state-funded at universities appear just after college, which means that the chances of getting a free education at a higher education institution are significantly increased.
