agnes moorhead in citizen kane

Agnes Moorhead in a scene from Orson Welles production of Citizen Kane. Her performance in the radio play, Sorry Wrong Number, created such a stir that audiences demanded repeat performances. Suspense, which was broadcast from the 1940s to the 1960s rarely repeated shows, but new productions of Sorry Wrong Number, with Agens Moorhead starring, were presented in 1043, 1945, 1948, 1952, and in 1960.

If you go to an old radio site, or perhaps to internet archive, you’ll find a copy of the show, and after you’ve heard her brilliant one-woman show, I think you will agree with me that Agnes Moorhead is the ultimate, number one radio performer of all time.
