About The Inventor’s Phone Book: words from the author

The Inventor’s Phone Book is a useful tool for any inventor to save time and money. The intention is to level the playing field and make it easier for inventors and innovative thinkers to find the right company to sell their idea to or find the right services to help develop and market an invention.

If you search the internet for inventor resources, you’ll find a ton of inventor services offering the same thing and guaranteeing the best way to make money from your idea. A lot of these services are legitimate and usually offer what they promise. However, how do you know which one is right for your idea? You could spend over $1,000 on an invention submission company, only to find out that you could have submitted your idea yourself directly to a company seeking ideas.

You could spend $$$ thousands on an invention submission company or an inventors package, only to find out later that you could have just submitted the idea yourself!

The truth is that there are honest companies out there seeking ideas that will sign a non-disclosure and keep your idea confidential. If you can’t find a company seeking your idea, try using a product scout. The majority of product scouts that are out there are listed in The Inventor’s Phone Book. The product scouts that I have talked to have been very helpful kept my idea confidential and have offered very good advice.

Unfortunately, I am still just a want-to-be inventor. I have spent most of my career on engineering projects such as pollution reduction equipment and industrial heat treating equipment. However, I have always longed to invent the next new fad or cool toy. It’s a really good feeling to have your idea accepted and make it to market. I envy any inventor that has seen their idea make it to market, kudos to you!

Until one of my ideas makes it to market, the best advice I can give to other inventors is: do your homework. I created this book to level the playing field and give inventors a fair chance to decide what service and advice is best for their idea. I have read several inventor books, and yes, I have even used an invention submission company. Since then I decided that I could do most of the work myself and was elated to find that there are hundreds of companies that are happy to work directly with an inventor and eliminate the middleman.
So, I am very happy to share this wonderful book full of resources for any inventor. If you take the time and browse through the book, I’m sure you’ll find a company that is seeking your idea, or you can find a product scout that is sincere and willing to represent your idea.

Did you know that you can get patent services at a great low price? Did you know you can market a product for under $500? If you didn’t know about these useful resources you may waste you money on books and worse spend thousands when you only needed to spend $100.

If you have an idea, the best thing you can do is submit your idea to companies that are accepting outside ideas. I have contacted and presented ideas and inventions to companies myself without the help inventor services, and have found that most companies are approachable and will talk to you, even over the phone.

So here it is: the most valuable tool you’ll ever use. This is not some book that claims to teach you what you already know, but an organized listing of 900 resources and contacts. Level the playing field and find that perfect contact that will buy your idea. Don’t feel disappointed and let yourself spend more than what you need to only to find out that the right contact was just around the corner.

Best of luck and thank you for purchasing The Inventor’s Phone Book, now you have the resources to make your idea a success.

Sincerely,

Jason Gallion, Author The Inventor’s Phone Book
