The Spiritual Life of the believer begins like the Human Life of the individual with BIRTH. Human Life begins at physical birth when God imputes to the format soul, (heb) Neshamah, the Breath of Life. Spiritual Life begins when, at the point of nonmeritorious Faith alone in the Substitutionary Spiritual Death of The Lord Jesus, The Christ alone, the individual accepts this Divine Good production of Christ. The believer is then totally capable of living with God in eternity. Like the physical and mental development of the Human from infancy to maturity the believer moves from infancy to maturity in systematic progressions of spiritual development. The critical issue of development and maturation in the Spiritual Life is the believer’s attitude toward the ABSOLUTE TRUTHS of Bible Doctrine.
