God vs Man (Philippines 2013)

(November 14, 2013)

For some the time is never right to preach the truth but if the truth is not preached then all is for nothing. (Matthew 24:14)

God gave His only begotten Son as a sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin which is disobedience or the transgression of the law of God. He also gave us the Bible. (John 3:16, 1 John 3:4, 2 Timothy 3:16)

Man devises all kinds of religions, pastimes, wars, entertainment, schemes, devices, machinations, imaginations, philosophies, governments, laws, hypocrisy, etc. Much of it is evil passed on as good. (Romans 1:25)

Is God trying to send a message to the Philippines? To the world? Katrina and the lewdness of New Orleans. Sandy and the atheism and capitalism of New York City. And now Haiyan or Yolanda and the idolatry of the Philippines.

The number one problem with the Philippines is that it is predominantly Roman Catholic. They, the Roman Catholics, use Christ as a door for their idolatries, their fallacies. They use the name of Jesus Christ but their hearts are far from Him. God is light and the Roman Catholic church is in darkness. It is a transgressor of the laws of God. (Jeremiah 9:3, Matthew 7:21)

They claim that the Pope is infallible. He is not. He is merely a man. He is actually the number one sinner among Roman Catholics. The Pope claims to be infallible and he propagates pagan doctrine. They obey a sinner rather than Jesus who was without sin and the Bible that is the Word of God. (Colossians 2:8, Ephesians 5:6, Hebrews 4:15)

How can God get across to such people? They are thoroughly deceived. Their hearts are in Roman Catholicism and in their imaginations. God has to go to extremes to get them away from their idealisms, their false beliefs and their misguided worship. What does it take to teach man that God, our Creator, is the One that we need to obey, that He and He alone is the way to eternal life, that His gift of the Bible is truly the Word of God. (Revelation 18:4, 1 Timothy 2:4, John 14:16)

Our Creator is a jealous God. He will tolerate no rivals. The only ones who will enter His Kingdom are His worshippers, do not let yourselves be deceived. His worshippers will be those who are obedient to Him. There will be no idolaters in His Kingdom. There is no other God. God will have His way. It is right and just. All else is evil. (Exodus 34:14, Hebrews 10:27, 1 John 5:2)

God is love and in His love there is freedom. God is the giver of life. He gave us breath, the Bible and His Son Jesus and through Jesus the promise of the gift of eternal life to those who follow His commandments, His Way. Do you know His will? It is time that you learn. Are you ready for the wrath of God and the great tribulation? The time is short to get your beliefs in order. Do you know God? Do you know what He is teaching? (1 John 4:8 and 16, John 8:32, Romans 8:2, 1 John 5:2, Colossians 3:6)

The best advice that I can give you is to seek help and answers from the United Church of God (www.ucg.org or www.ucg.ca ).

Sincerely,

Jacques Gauvin (Ecclesiastes 7:20)
