In order to be as accurate as possible in my interpretation of the Holy Scriptures I will include plenty scriptures that support the statements being presented here. Also, because there is so much controversy and confusion associated with the name Jesus, I prefer instead to use His 'original Hebrew name', which according to Historical References is actually Yehoshua, the long version of His Jewish name: Yeshua.
These Historical References include the 'Jewish Talmud', the 'Septuagint', 'Strong's Concordance', other writings and commentaries that in fact, show that Yehoshua was Our Lord's birth name and is the name He was called when He walked on this Earth. Though other sources suggest that these variations are His true name: Yahoshua, Yahushua and Yahosha to name some, but all of these have been shown to be inaccurate, per historical data.
In essence, by calling Him by His true name Yehoshua instead of Yeshua or Jesus, we are restoring to Him His Hebrew identity. So, throughout this book I will be using the 'original Hebrew name' of our Lord and Savior Yehoshua. This is my personal preference, so please feel free to refer to Him by His 'English name' Jesus, or Yeshua if you prefer.
