Conclusion
There is no doubt that we live in perilous and dangerous times. the evidence is all around us. However, it is very instructive to note that at the same time these are days where the opportunities for expanding the kingdom of God have never been so abundant with so much knowledge and technology at our beck and call. It is also very clear from the scriptures that when the darkness is darkest, our light has the opportunity to shine brightest (Isa. 60:1, 2; Rom. 5:20).
With this understanding, we must take on the work of evangelism with enthusiasm and embrace evangelical methods that not only preach the gospel of the kingdom but go ahead to teach, train and tutor believers (most especially the next generation), as Jesus commanded in the Great Commission, for us to go and disciple all nations in the way of the kingdom.
We have a responsibility to the next generation and to God to ensure that His kingdom comes and His will is done.
