When you want peace
Prayer: “Father God, you are the source of life and peace. I will praise your name forever. We know it is you O Lord, who has the power to change hearts, and turn our troubled minds to thoughts of peace and love. Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Let me sow love where there is hatred, faith where there is doubt, joy where there is sadness, hope where there is despair.” In Jesus’ name, amen.
Confirming Scripture: “I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety” (Psalm 4:8). “You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you” (Isaiah 26:3). “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.
