Part I – The Calling

The calling includes concepts and processes like soul awakening, soul enlivening, or soul opening, as well as a radical change of heart. It is also a drawing and enabling that may need to come from beyond. Naturally and without such awakening, humans are generally not interested in the things of God. By excessively pursuing material knowledge, many neglect their souls, which can get into such a state of inertia or lethargy, that, as far as being a part of the person’s activities, the soul may as well be dead. If a soul is starved and in such condition of stagnation that all its receptive powers are for all practical purposes dead, only some great miracle or unusual ministration can awaken it. But as soon as the light breaks into that soul or mind, and the person/spirit begins to see a way to reach higher levels and expand, he or she will desire to progress. With that desire will also come help in abundance. The person’s will then becomes a great force in their progress, and work in conjunction with the help that calls it into operation. Salvation – redemption from the penalty of the law of compensation, becoming immortal, and being given a home in the Celestial Kingdom of God – is all due to soul transformation by God’s Divine Love.
