He revealed through Dr. Daniel Samuels (53 Revelations/Rev. 51) that he did not intend to bring a new religion. Rather, he was teaching people that the Father’s Love had again become available to humans. This was what the later Greeks and others of the Western world understood by Christ the anointed of the Father who brought salvation to humanity through his own personality. It was, however, quickly forgotten or misunderstood, that the word Christ stood for the Father’s Divine Love, and that the New Birth through the Father’s Love unto eternal salvation was at hand. Therefore originally, Christianity meant the New Birth through the Divine Love.

Although Jesus’ magnificence surpasses that of all spirits, and his love is beyond earthly comprehension, Jesus emphatically declared that the gift of Divine Love was not just for him. Rather, the Father had ordained that every human soul could partake of the divine essence. We read in Jesus’ prayer in the Gospel of John:

John 17:26 – “I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”

Paul reiterates the same in Romans 8:29: “For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.” Note that Jesus was not the “only-born”, or “God’s only Son”, to be allowed the transformation into the Father’s nature (the New Birth), but that he was merely to be the “firstborn among many brethren”.

Jesus as the firstborn and the one most filled with the Father’s Love has pre-eminence among humans and spirits. In TGRABJ/3/51 and 1/70, we learn that the Father has given Jesus power over all the spirits in the Celestial Kingdom. He is the Master of the Celestial Kingdom (or, in biblical metaphor, the Head of the church or those born anew – Colossians 1:18).

Christ is the spirit of the Father that God gave to Jesus when he anointed him for his earthly mission, or the spirit that manifests the existence of the Divine Love in the soul. In other words, Christ is the quality that came to Jesus after he received into his soul the Divine Love and was fully transformed into the essence of the Father. Phrasing it yet differently, Christ is the manifestation of God’s Love as bestowed upon Jesus and made part of his existence. Jesus then is the Christ of God – the anointed spirit and the great dispenser of truths, who brought eternal life and immortality to light. Jesus the spirit is a spirit like other spirits, with his home in the Celestial Heavens.

Christ in You

The term Christ, or Christ in you, therefore, can be seen as the Divine Love, and specifically the presence of this Love of the Father in one’s soul. It is universal and available to all who sincerely seek it through soulful prayer. Jesus became the Christ (anointed) because he was the first to receive the Divine Love into his soul and manifest its existence. He was anointed to teach that this Love, or Christ principle, became again available to humankind. Those who avail themselves of it will become at one with the Father in His substance of Love and immortality.

The Bible also tells us, that we have indeed received a special anointing and that “Christ” is living in our hearts through faith. The following verses are quite inspiring:

1 John 2:20-27 – But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. … See that what you have heard from the beginning [Divine Love/New Birth teaching] remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father [by being at one with them through the Divine Love]. And this is what he promised us – even eternal life [immortality]…. As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit – just as it has taught you, remain in him.

2 Corinthians 1:21-22 – Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us [becoming his true children], and put his Spirit [Divine Love] in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come [inheritance in the Celestial Kingdom].

Ephesians 3:16-3:19 – I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ [Divine Love] may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. [Wow! Soul perceptions of what the depth of God’s Love is and being filled with it.]

Colossians 1:25-27 – … the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness – the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory [the Divine Love truth that will ultimately bring us to the glory of the Celestial Kingdom].

 

In summary, as Jesus was anointed for the mission of teaching and manifesting the Divine Love, being the firstborn of many to be transformed by the Love, those who follow his teaching and walk in his footsteps also have a special anointing of “Christ in them” and the mission to be examples of Love and light to others.
