A spirit is only a human without a physical body and the accompanying cares of earthly life. Some, however, retain these cares for a long time after coming to the spirit world and are only relieved of them by paying the penalties of a violated law. By contrast, those spirits who resist the temptations to indulge their previous life passions and appetites are able to turn their thoughts to higher things and may soon realize that only the New Birth brought about by soul transformation through the Divine Love of the Father can help them reach their highest potential. This is a glorious destiny as immortal divine angels in the Celestial Kingdom of God of unlimited joy, beauty and happiness.
