A Prayer for Strength

LET US PRAY

Lord God, I am Your servant. I know that I am on earth on

a mission, and I am here to do the work that You have

given me to do. Lord, I know that a life that doesn't have

You at the center of it is purposeless. I know that a life

that doesn't focus on Your kingdom and Your

righteousness is wasted. Today, You come first. From this

moment forth, I put You first in everything. I seek Your

kingdom and Your righteousness by keeping Your

commandment and teaching others to do the same, that

You may add every other good thing to me in time. In

Jesus' Name. Amen.

LET US PRAY

Lord God, I want to be mature in spirit. I want to grow up

like Christ in every aspect of my life. I want to have the

same humility as Jesus did on earth, and be able to speak

to my troubles, and they obey my every word. I want to

be free of sin just as Jesus was. I want to be slow-to-

anger, and quick-to-forgive. Lord, I know that these

things are possible, and I ask that You send Your Holy

Spirit to help me accomplish this. I know that I need more

faith to be able to command my troubles, so I ask that

You bless me with more faith each passing day. In Jesus'

Name. Amen.

Lord, today, I have come to realize that the best way to

glorify You here on earth is by doing everything You have

created me to do even to the last detail. Lord, You know

that without You I can do nothing, so I ask that You send

Your Spirit to me that I may be equipped physically and

spiritually with everything I may need to complete

everything You assigned me to do. Lord, bless me with

the strength necessary; bless me with the wisdom,

understanding, knowledge, skill, and perseverance

necessary to complete the task ahead. In Jesus' Name.

Heavenly Father, God of hope, I ask You to fill me with

joy and peace. By the power of Your Spirit may I be filled

with hope. Lord, I need You to fulfill Your good plans in

my life today. Fill me with Your joy that I may rejoice

even in trying moments. Fill me with Your peace that my

heart may not be troubled in time of distress. Lord, fill

me with Your hope that I may look into the future

knowing that You are there and that You will make a way

works within me, may He remove any unrighteous virtue

within me. Replace all unrighteousness within me with

righteousness. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Dear God, thank You for sending Your only Son Jesus

Christ to earth, not only because He died that we may be

reconciled with You, but because He showed us Your

original purpose in every person You created. Lord, I

want to be like Jesus. Each day I long to be more and

more like Him. I want to be identical with Him in actions,

words, thoughts, and other aspects of life. Lord, send

Your Holy Spirit to empty me of myself and fill me with

all the wonderful virtues of my Lord Jesus Christ that I

may become what You want me to be. In Jesus' Name.

Lord Jesus, I want my roots to grown down into You and

through it. May I never forget to read the Bible at all

times. As I do, bless me with the understanding to get its

deepest meanings that I may draw nourishment from it. I

want to continue growing in You, and as I endeavor to

ensure this, I ask that You bless me with Your grace to

accomplish this. With every passing day, may I grow

with You through Christ Jesus, I promise to restore my

relationships with those who I have wronged, and those

who have wronged me. Lord, give me the strength,

guidance, and humility to restore all of my broken

relationships. Speak through me that I may say the proper

apology. Fill the hearts of all those I have wronged with

Your love, that they may accept my apology, and our

relationship could be restored just as my relationship

with You was restored through my Savior Jesus Christ. In

Jesus' Name. Amen.

Lord, I want to treat everyone I meet with dignity and

honor. I want to treat them with love and kindness. May I

get along with those around me. You said that whatever I

do to my fellow man that I do it to You. I don't want to

treat You unfairly, and without love, so I will not treat

my fellow man unfairly and without love. You said that

we should love our neighbors just as we love ourselves,

and I cannot treat myself unfairly and without love, so I

promise from this moment forth, never to treat anyone

unfairly. I promise to treat them with love and kindness;

just the way I expect others to treat me. In Jesus' Name.
