During the apostolic age, every service was a Resurrection Sunday service. These were the eyewitnesses to the Event. After the Holy Spirit was poured out on Pentecost, the apostles didn’t fear the civil authorities any more.

Adding to their message was those who, besides Christ, were resurrected with Him. This produced many more converts, and these new believers knew where to go.
As the gospel spread across the empire and beyond, new churches were scripturally founded as the apostles followed the Lord’s last treatise to them.
They preached the gospel. They preached with conviction wherever they were; synagogues, marketplaces, people’s homes, even in prison.
Those that believed, they baptized. This was still immersion as that was the only way they knew to βαπτω, and they did it in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
