The prophetic events concerning Israel were revealed to Daniel when he was serving the King of Babylon during the Israelite exile. The prophetic events concerning the church was revealed to Apostle John when he was on the Island of Patmos on exile.
The book of Revelation is continuity to the book of Daniel. A clear understanding of the book of Daniel is primary to unravelling some of the mysteries in the book of Revelation.
