360 TO 365 DAYS

“God’s Proof to ALL the World”

In this final chapter of this study, God wants to share with the world another clear and distinct sign that He is real, powerful, and all the promises in His Word are true. This sign also has to do with time. Since God is the Creator of time, He has ALL power over time. Remember, the

sun and the moon are a part of God’s universal clock system to keep track of time. Let’s study.

What determines a day? Remember, a complete 24 hour day is from sunset to sunset. As the Earth is revolving around the sun it is spinning on its axis. During daylight about half of the Earth is facing the sun for about 12 hours. At the end of the daylight from our vantage point it appears that the sun is going down as it spins away from the sunlight to face the dark space. One complete 24 hour rotation on the Earth’s axis determines a day.

What determines our month? The moon determines our months. God designed the moon to revolve around the Earth in 30 days. The moon goes around the Earth in about 30 days and it does this 12 times per year. When the moon has made one complete revolution around a new month begins.

What determines our year? When the Earth makes one complete circle around the sun that represents a year in time. Currently, it takes approximately 365 days for the Earth to make a complete circle around the sun, BUT originally there were only 360 days in a year.

360 Days?

Did you know from the beginning when the sun and moon were created, it only took 360 days for the Earth to make a complete revolution around the sun? Originally, all the world was based on the 360 day calendar year. This is real good, so read carefully and pay close attention.

What is proof that 360 days was used for over 3000 years?

According to the Bible, there were originally exactly 30 days in a month for 12 months for a total of 360 days per year. This can be proven by looking at Noah’s account of the worldwide flood recorded in the book of Genesis. Genesis 7:11, 24 says, 11“In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. 2⁴And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.” The flood started on the second month and seventeenth day. The Earth was completely covered with water for 150 days. When did the floodwaters recede? Let’s read Genesis 8:3, 4. It says, 3“And the waters returned from off the Earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated. ⁴And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.” The water receded on the seventh month and seventeenth day, five months later. To figure out how many days were in each month during the time the floodwaters covered the Earth, divide 5 months into 150 days which equals to 30 days per month (150/5 = 30). 1 Chronicles 27:1, 15 shows us clearly that “all the months of the year” were 12. There are ancient records that Egyptians, Babylonians, Chinese, Indians, Mayans, and the Jewish cultures used the 360 day calendars. Then a major change took place that effects us even today. However, this change did not interfere with God’s seven day weekly cycle.

Perfect harmony Sun and Moon = 360 Days

At the beginning of time, the revolution of the moon around the Earth and the 360 days of the Earth’s revolution around the sun were in perfect harmony. Every 30 days was a month, a complete revolution of the moon around the Earth. It did that perfectly 12 times per year (12 x 30 days = 360 days). This harmonized perfectly with the exact amount of time it took for the Earth to revolve around the sun. The sun and moon were synchronized in perfect harmony like a big clock in the sky as the Earth rotated on its axis.

Circle = 360 degrees

In math a circle is divided into 360 degrees. All circles, whether they are big or small, have 360 degrees. The 360 degrees of a circle is based on the 360 days that it took for the Earth to circle around the sun. Each degree corresponded to a day around the sun. The Bible says that the Earth is a round ball shaped circle. Isaiah 40:21, 22 says, 21“Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? 22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in.” The circle of the Earth was clearly known in Bible days and taught from generation to generation.

This Earth spins on its axis one complete rotation in 24 hours. As it spins, it is also revolving around the sun. It took 360 days for the Earth to completely revolve around the sun to determine a year. It took 30 days for the moon to revolve around the Earth to determine a month. It took 12 months of 30 days each for the Earth to revolve around the sun as the moon revolves around the Earth for a total of 360 days a year. Man did not make this process, they simply WATCHED this natural occurring phenomenon as time was displayed. All around the world it WAS the same. This was very simple and easily understood. There was perfect harmony between the Earth and the moon going around the sun like clockwork. The year was synchronized at 360 days by the hands of the Creator. Just like beautiful music, this melody of time was understood by people around the world regardless of their different languages.

When time stood still

Since you know what determines time, let’s look at a time when time stood still. In order for time to stand still the “big clock” in the heavens would have to stop. The Earth’s
