I pray your blessed with Jesus’s grace
I miss you and today it hurts a lot
I’ve felt your spirit and the gentle love it has brought

Watching over your family

Later on, I’ll take a walk-in nature and pray
I feel your spirit by the running brook
As I tearfully look
For a sign that your near
Think of the memories with fallen tears
Carrying me on your back that day on the beach
Having strict Morales for me
Remembering my birthday
When I was a teen it was fun spending weekends with you and my sisters
Swimming and taking walks enjoying one another
That last treasured phone call
As tears would suddenly fall
Telling me how you loved each grandchild
I felt your fatherly love
It was the night that I grew up
It felt like nothing could ever mend my broken heart
I cried endlessly and prayed to God
For somehow, I knew deep down inside
God would take you that night
I felt your spirit enter me
Like a form of protection sent by thee
I feel that your proud of me now
I see it as angels smile
I sense it in the birth of spring
Where flowers bloom and baby birds sing
I feel a gentle love by the quiet pond
When I hear a father/daughter song
I visualize it in the light of the moon
I hear it from the call of loon
In remembering the things, you loved to do
Enjoying nature, fishing, boating, or watching a family of deer
Holding your family so dear
As the grief provides relief and I dry the tears
I prayerfully have faith
We will be together some day
By God’s almighty grace
