I sense that the darkness is drawing near
I won’t allow it to take what is dear
Hello bright and wonderous light!
I feel your electric warmth tonight
Darkness flee and go away!
I refuse to let you have your way
For the light is full of love
It is so much more above…
Evil forces that leave utter disgust
There’s nothing of good value in the darkness
As it’s filled with havoc and wickedness
Let us walk in the light
With the good Lord by our sides
Blessing us day and night
