Live-Obey-Serve
If we that are saved would live, obey, and serve Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ just as much as we had lived, obeyed, and served Satan, before we got saved. We could truly make a difference in this temporal sin sick world that we are living in.
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. Colossians 3:24
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:14
But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. Romans 17:18
For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. Romans 14:7-8
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. 2 Corinthians 5:15
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20
If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. John 12:26
Unforgiveness
I heard someone say that if someone has unforgiveness or some type of bitterness against someone. It's like a person taking a bottle of poison and drinking it themselves, and then hoping it would harm the person that they have the unforgiveness and bitterness against.
So other words, by a person going around with bitterness and unforgiveness in their heart toward someone they know. It is truly hurting that person with the unforgiveness more then the person that they are mad at.
Just think every time that person thinks about, sees, or even hears that name that he/she has the bitterness against. How that same bitterness will more and more start eating away at that person as if it was a poison. And before you know it that person will start hating that person he/she is bitter against.
So I pray we all, especially us that are Christians would always humble ourselves and forgive one another, just as God for Christ sake have forgiven us. Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
