Is it biblical to ask someone if they would like to accept Jesus Christ into their heart, or into their life?
No. I don't believe it's biblical. Because it's by the power of God, that a person can have faith enough to believe the gospel of Jesus Christ to be saved. And that salvation was not of ourselves, but it's a gift from God, that was given to us by His grace. So it was not us accepting Him, but it was by God's grace accepting us, by given us faith enough to believe on His Son Jesus Christ, to be saved.
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
Romans 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace...
Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) Ephesians 2:9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Romans 15:7 Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
2 Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
Romans 3:24-26 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
So salvation doesn't come by accepting, but it comes by a person being able to believe the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is by God's grace, His word, and by the power of His Holy Spirit. So I pray if you're not saved that you would call out to God and ask Him to give you faith enough to believe on His Son Jesus Christ. So that you can have your sins forgiven and not be condemned, but have everlasting life.
