I believe in God

Some may say; I know am not perfect, but I atheist who disbelieves there is a god. So god, that He accepts me as I am. I believe him; and when I die I will forever be with him and I love him, and he loves me. do believe in god. Am not like them I believe with me just believing in I have a personal relationship with him in heaven. Because I believe in him and I love him, and he loves me.

You may have notice that I used lowercase letters on the (g) for god instead of using capital letters. The reason is the god that they are speaking of is not the God of the Bible, it's an imaginary god that they have created, that will accept them as they are. So they have created an idol that replaces the one true God; which the Bible calls committing idolatry. Now if they would just take the time and read what God's word says, they would realize that their god is nothing more then an imaginary god, that they have made that suits them and will accept their lifestyle no matter what it may be.

Lets take a look at God's word, and see how a person can have a personal relationship with the true God of the Bible.

John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

1 Peter Chapter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

2 Corinthians 5:17-19 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

So now by having read what God's word says; one can see that the only way that a person can have a personal relationship with the true God is through His Son Jesus Christ. And it's only through Jesus Christ that a person can have their sins forgiven and be made worthy to be called a son or daughter of the one and only true God.

1 Corinthians 1:30-31 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his (Jesus) blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
