She was to be married all over again in the customs of her world. As Raphael was the king of her planet a higher authority had to declare them conjugated. That authority was the ruler of the Seventh heaven, Michael.
Raphael was afraid of Michael, or so it seemed. Cassandra however found little reason to be afraid of the man who was kind to her in her times of need and who was her husband’s doppelganger. The mystery that remained was why such a powerful creature would go down to earth for her assistance.
Cassandra never told Raphael of her acquaintance with Michael but she looked forward to visiting him and knowing why he had helped her. She also wished to ask him something else. She wanted to ask him if she were sinning not that she didn’t already know. But she couldn’t hurt Ray in any way and she had already hurt him enough.
