Chapter VII.
Kitty decides to stop at Shula Burgers on the way to Coral Gables, for an early lunch. Once everyone has digested their hamburgers and used the facilities, they make their way back onto U.S. 1.
They reach the Hyatt Regency, Coral Gables, at 11:00 a.m. Christophe checks into the three rooms, handing out six key cards.
He has the front desk clerk set 8:30 a.m. wake-up calls for each room, for the duration of their stay.
They decide to visit Zoo Miami first; of chief interest is the European polecat, the slender-tailed Meer cat, the Serval, the lesser-spot-nosed guenon, the white handed gibbon and the black lemur.
They eat dinner at Seasons 52, in Coral Gables that night. The men in the group all dine on the Oak Grilled Filet Mignon; the ladies eat the Crisp Romaine & Baby Kale Caesar Salad.
Kitty and Christophe steal a brief moment alone at the Museum of Science & Planetarium, where they decide to post-pone the announcement to the rest of the family pertaining their cruise to the Panama Canal, as well as their vacation to Paris, Vienna, and Italy.
Instead they decide to make the announcement the following night at Ruth’s Chris, Coral Gables.
