Chapter XIV.
The second evening they are back in Key West (Sunday), they ride their beach cruisers to Smathers Beach. Christophe and Kitty reminisce of their favorite restaurants in foreign places, such as Vienna.
Specifically, the Waterfront Kitchen, Vapiano, Ristorante Fratelli, and Restaurant Bauer. Of Venice, they reflect on their time at Quadri, Bistrot De Venise, Le Calandre, and Da Fiore.
Kitty and Christophe discuss future plans to travel to Great Britain, Germany, Greece and Spain. The two of them agree that ten days between the aforementioned countries would prove to be satisfactory; two days in England, two days in Germany, four days in Greece, and two days in Spain.
They ponder the possibility of taking a cruise from Miami to St. Maarten, to St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands), and then to Nassau, Bahamas.
September 2026 is their target date. The next day, Friday, March 20, 2026, Christophe works on revising a manuscript.
Kitty works out the details of potential cruise destinations, as well as cruise liners, on her lap top. The next day, Saturday, March 21, 2026, Christophe puts a feasible agenda together for his travel agent; he then submits it via e-mail that evening.
