Chapter XVIII.
In March 2028, Kitty and Christophe move from Key West to a townhouse in the Jacksonville, Florida area. Their main town to explore is St. Augustine; the main bailiwicks they like to visit are the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse, the St. Augustine Pirate and Treasure Museum, Flagler College, the St. Augustine Light Tower, the Lightner Museum, the Fountain of Youth, and Fort Matanzas National Monument.
The restaurants they enjoy going to in St. Augustine are; Cellar 6, Pizza Time of St. Augustine, Sunset Grille, and A1A Burrito Works Taco Shop.
Christophe has spent quite a bit of time in Jacksonville growing up, as he had relatives there in the past. He thinks this change of scenery may spawn a positive change for their mindset.
Jacksonville itself is a fairly quiet city compared to Key West. It dwarfs an island like Key West, however. The Avenues Mall and The Jacksonville Landing are two very popular areas to frequented by the natives. Kitty and Christophe enjoy frequenting Fernanda Beach, Ponte Verde, Vilano Beach, and Daytona Beach.
The restaurants they enjoy dining at in Jacksonville are Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Maggiano’s, Giuliano’s, Famous Amos, Al’s Pizza, Vito’s Italian Café and Enza’s Italian Restaurant.
Kitty and Christophe get all of their medical records transferred from their specialists at the University Miami Hospital, to the Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville.
They also enjoy attending services at Ft. Caroline Christian Church, as well as working out at L.A. Fitness. Kitty and Christophe’s two favorite grocery stores are Publix and Walmart Super Center; both are located near their domicile.
