Chapter XXXI.
2037 brings news of two new additions to the family; first Andrea and Eric are expecting their second child; a baby boy. She is due in September.
Secondly, Trisha and Patrick are expecting their first baby; also a boy, in November.
Andrea plans on working her pharmacy job up until the time she delivers; then she plans on taking a six-week maternity leave.
Trisha does not have a designated plan for her leave of absence, since both sets of grandparents are far away. Her parents live in Illinois, and Christophe and Kitty live in Alabama.
Kitty and Christophe plan on flying to Raleigh as soon as possible. They are excited about their prospects; Trisha and Patrick are both highly educated and extremely intelligent.
Patrick graduated from Purdue University, West Lafayette, with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Trisha graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, also with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
They work for the same company in Raleigh, North Carolina; Drescher Automation. They specialize in custom automation and robotics.
Patrick and Trisha enjoy flying to international soccer matches in countries such as Chile, Brasil, and Great Britain.
In the fifteen years that Patrick has been away from college, he has begun to come into stride in the past ten. Trisha does her part to be a solid marriage partner, and Patrick enjoys her loyalty and companionship.
