Very few of us are rich beyond our wildest imaginings. Most of us have very limited resources.  But that has never stopped anyone from dreaming and achieving their dreams! What you need to do is financial planning.

Financial planning is much, much more than just managing what money you have, or investing it. It means taking stock of all your abilities and resources, not just money, and systematically putting all of them to use in order to achieve growth and realize your dreams. It should be part and parcel of your whole life’s general plan, as an engine to power your proclaimed dreams. (Put your money where your mouth is!)

Your financial plan should therefore be broken down into these parts:

1. How you earn money. You need to be in a job or line of work that you’re happy to be working in, and which will provide you the needed income to live and live out at least most of your dreams.

2. How you manage your time and the other resources. It’s not just money that eventually defines your wealth. You also need to consider your health, how much time you have, your abilities, work experience and knowledge, your personal relationships, your network of business people or contacts, and even your store of ideas, in order to assess how much power

you have to improve life.  How does money help you manage your time and these resources, and vice versa?
