3. Get enough rest and sleep.
Your body needs to shut down and sleep at least 6 out of every 24 hours. The body is like a factory with a PC that needs regular cool down and defragmentation times. If you don’t get enough deep sleep every 24 hours, over time you’ll start showing signs of wear and tear in all parts of your body (and not just your face). You’ll also show signs of psychological stress because your brain doesn’t have enough time to quiet down, and your mind can’t properly sort and file away new
information. You will become irritable and forgetful.
Alongside deep sleep, you also need rest. What I mean by rest is idle time spent on a light nap, meditating, praying, sipping tea, or just a nice hot bath. Every day, you need a few minutes’ worth of a rest break in between bouts of work, when you can
let go of worrying thoughts and just be. Without these breaks, you’ll become highly stressed.
Just like exercise, you need to be committed to giving yourself enough sleep and rest. Think of it as an important part of your schedule, and block off time for it.
4. Take up a sport or hobby that interests you, one which will bring you in contact with like-minded people.
