Beauty and Sex Appeal
OK, so you’ve got your health and fitness, and you’re poised. Are you ready for your actual makeover?
Before you start, let me remind you again of what you’ve learned while expanding your horizons. Do you remember seeing or meeting anyone who struck you as effortlessly beautiful or attractive, and classy? How did they look, or dress? How did they conduct themselves? Bear their images in mind, because they can serve as examples.
With that said, here’s a summary of practical tips for creating your beauty and sex appeal.
1. Keep your body scrupulously clean and fragrant.
This is a basic tenet for both men and women, but it’s unbelievable how some people don’t follow this.
Take the case of Sam, a 35-year old from San Francisco, who posed without his shirt and on his bike for a few photographs he posted for a Craigslist dating ad he put up. Now Sam is hot-looking, with the standard six-pack abs. He snagged a date within a few days of posting the ad.
But Sam doesn’t take care of his teeth, nor did he bathe everyday. The shirt he wore on Monday is still the same shirt he wore on Thursday, regardless of what he did in it in between.
So when he showed up for his first ad-generated date at a coffee shop, he not only smelled, but the clothes he was
wearing had dirt marks all over. His hair was greasy and messy, and he was wearing black dress socks with sandals.
The girl was gorgeous and seemed polite. After choosing a place for them to sit at one of the outdoor tables of the café, Sam told her he was going to get them coffee. The girl told him what she wanted. He then got up, and walked inside to the café counter to order two lattés.
While his back was turned, the girl literally ran off, never to be seen again.
Granted, this is an extreme case. But you can’t be too careful when it comes to making a hygienic impression!
So at the risk of sounding like a toddler’s nagging mother I will say: please, bathe at least once a day, scrubbing off dirt and old skin cells with soap and water.
Use deodorants in places where you know tend to stink. If it takes shaving off body hair to keep you clean and fragrant, please do so.
Conversely, go easy on fragrances and colognes. Choose a particular smell you like, but please don’t dab or spray on too much. You will smell like a man or woman desperate for attention, and that’s never sexy.
