By the time that we get into Sky's car my emotions are all over the place I can't even talk. “I am so stupid Sky, did I really think that this stupid plan was going to work?” I ask her as a clean my tears. “I am so sorry Kat it's my fault, I shouldn't have come up with the plan in the first place”. “No if it's any ones fault it's mine for even considering the possibility of him liking me” I say. “No fuck him Kat, you are beautiful inside and out, you are the kindest person in the world, you are smart and funny and the only reason why I agree to give you a makeover was because I wanted you to feel good about yourself” she said. If I was crying before now I am balling with everything she thinks about me how did I get so lucky to have her as my best friend? “Even if I am not wearing my Victoria Secret lingerie you still think I am beautiful inside? I ask her with a smile. She lets out a laugh “Even if you are wearing granny panties you are still beautiful” she said as she pulls up to my house. I say bye to her and run to my room I look for an old shirt and some pajamas to change into. I locked my door and turned on my stereo. I cried so hard to the point where I had no more tears to cry there is a knock on my door “Munchkin can I come in?” I hear Kelvin ask. I walk over to the mirror and try to fix my self up but there is no hope for my red puffy eyes. I open the door “Are you okay?” Kelvin ask as we take a seat in my bed. “Yeah Vin” I nod my head. “You know it wasn't what-” “I don't want to hear it Vin if you came to defend him and take his side than you can leave” I cut him off. “Look Katalyna I have no clue what happen but if there is a side I have to pick I'll pick your side, I am team munchkin everyday all day I don't say often but I love you and I will chop anybodies balls off for you.” I look at my brother and laugh because I finally understand the balls joke “No, Vin its not his fault that he don't see me like I see him” I say. Kelvin wraps his arms around me in a tight hug “He is one stupid son-of-a-bitch I can cut his balls off and give them to you as trophies.” I laugh my ass off what I am going to do with two balls? “I am going to the party tomorrow” I say as he lets me go. He arches his eyebrow “Who said?” “Come on Vin I am 18 years old I can make my own decisions and I am not asking you I am informing you that I am going” I say. “Fine, but promise me if any one especially Alexander tries anything with you, you'll look for me” he said. “I promise” I roll my eyes because come on who would make a move on me. The next day at school I avoided Theo I can't stand seeing him right now. “Well look who is back” I hear Brandon behind me. “What are you talking about?” I ask as I turn around. “You have your hair in a messy bun, you have your favorite basketball shorts on and a white t-shirt I haven't seen this side of you in a while” he said. “Well I tried the whole look like a girl thing but instead I look like a clown”. “Well than you are a hot as clown” he said and I punch him in his arm. “No serious Kat you are hot as hell when you dress up but I just miss seeing you like this” he adds. Huh” I ask. I see Theo walking with Kelvin so I say my goodbyes to Brandon and walk away. Sky and I decide to skip our last class and leave early. “This isn't the way home” I said “I have a surprise for you” she said. We pull up to Micky's salon “What are we doing here?” I ask. She looks at me “Honey we have a party to get ready for.” “Welcome back doll, wait a minute what the hell is this?” he points at me as we walk in. “She is having boy problems” Sky explains. He shakes his head and looks at me “I swear men can bring the best out of you but they can also bring out the worst.” He gives me a hug and I feel warm inside “Come on doll I'll make you feel all better”. As he works on me Sky gives him the 411 about my drama “Oh Hun are you sure he don't play for my team?” he ask. I look at him and give him a confuse look “Only a gay or blind man can resist you especially after I work my magic on you” he adds. I laugh my ass off and than smile at him “Maybe I should introduce you two.”
