Chapter XIX.
Their fifteen day Princess Cruise to the Panama Canal begins at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, 2031. Each couple stays in a Suite. The ship they take is called, Island Princess.
The stopping points are in Cabo San Lucas, San Juan del Sur, Puntarenas, Panama Canal, Cartagena, and Aruba.
The group dines at Sabatini’s, Crown Grill, Sterling Steakhouse, and Bayou Café & Steakhouse.
In Cabo San Lucas, Nicholas, Patrick, Joshua, Alec, and Eric begin with the Outdoor Adventure (Zip Lining), then meet up with the ladies at El Arco & Lover’s Beach ninety-minutes later.
In Cabo, Nina, Andrea, Ava, Bridget, and Trisha begin with a tour of San Jose del Cabo. The group has lunch together at Mango Deck.
Alec, Josh, Eric, Patrick and Nicholas go tour the San Jose del Cabo following lunch; Nina, Ava, Andrea, Trisha and Bridget chose to go on the Outdoor Adventure, following lunch, where the ladies enjoy zip lining.
Their entire group meets at Romeo y Julieta Ristorante for dinner.
Their next potential destination is San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Alec, Nina, Joshua, Nicholas and Patrick make a joint decision not to stop.
The third destination is Puntarenas, Costa Rica. They visit the Costa Rica Rainforest, the Rainforest Aerial Tram, and the Thermal Springs. They eat at Caliche’s Wishbone Restaurant.
At Gatun Lake, Panama Canal, the group tours Panama Viejo, Casco Viejo, Embera Indians and Gatun Locks.
At Cartagena, Columbia, they tour the Old City, the Historical Museum of Cartagena and Las Murallas. They eat at Hard Rock Café.
Alec, Nicholas, Josh, Patrick and Eric decide to get off at their final destination; Aruba. They tour the Antilla shipwreck and the Oranjestad.
Nina, Ava, Trish, Andrea, and Bridget also decide to tour Aruba. They visit the California Lighthouse and the Ayo & Casibari Rock Formations.
As a group, they eat at Texas de Brasil. The final disembarkation takes place in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, on June 1, 2031.
At Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL), on June 1, Nicholas and Ava take a direct flight to Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT), via Delta Airlines; Joshua and Bridget take a flight to O’Hare (ORD), on Delta Airlines, then from O’Hare to Indianapolis International Airport (IND).
The rest of the group (Nina, Alec, Patrick, Trisha, Eric and Andrea) take a rental car from Fort Lauderdale International Airport to Coral Gables, Florida, where they spend one night at the Hyatt Regency, Coral Gables.
Nina, Alec, Eric, Andrea, Patrick and Trisha eat at Ruth’s Chris that evening for dinner.
They spend one night there, and fly out the next morning, June 2, 2031, from Miami International Airport (MIA), each on American Airlines to Raleigh Durham (RDU), Jack Edwards National Airport (JKA), and Mobile Regional Airport (MOB).
