Daniel entered the V8 and closed the door.
His watch read 08:55 AM and there was no sign of Baraka or Isla. He sighed. He used to think that the worst thing in life was to end up all alone, but at that moment, he realized it was not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people that make you feel all alone.
When the clock ticked 9:00 AM, Daniel's hands were on the car keys, ready to start the engine. He started the engine, pressed the brakes, moved the gear to the drive mark, and then pulled down the handbrake.
He touched his neck, ready to press the accelerator when the gate opened and Baraka surged in. Daniel swiftly pulled up the handbrake and walked out of the V8.

Baraka massaged his earlobe, staring at a big Bangalore in front of him. “I came for Leo, and Leo only.”
Daniel nodded. “Seems like Isla either didn’t receive my messages or doesn’t want to come.”
“The kind of friends you have.”
“What about the project you were doing?”
“I’ve explained the situation to the musician. I’ll be okay if he won’t understand and I’ll pay his money back.”
“I wasn’t sure you could’ve given up on your prime project in your whole life.
