PEACE AND LOVE DOESN’T LAST LONG | Ezekiel Millinga Daniel held Isla’s shoulders. “Isla, calm down, Baraka, you too. Complaining never makes anything better.”

Isla removed Daniel’s hands from her shoulder. “I’ll calm down the moment I find my mother.”

“The only thing complaining does is convince other people that you are not in control," Daniel said.

“Are we leaving for the private house as you said in your messages?” Isla said.

"We are leaving, but promise me there will be no more fights," Daniel said, looking at Isla and Baraka.

Isla looked at the sky while Baraka looked around the fence, shaking his head.

"Let's go guys," Daniel said.

The three entered the V8. Daniel pulled down the handbrake and pressed the accelerator. He drove outside the office and 48

He stopped the car in a traffic jam. He looked at Isla who was in the front seat, she was staring out the window. He looked at Baraka through the rear-view mirror, he closed his eyes, and his head turned up.

The three people who were good friends a few years back were now in one car, not talking to each other as each one was holding a grudge against the other. Time flies, things change and people change.

A loud horn blowing from a minibus behind brought Daniel to his senses. The green lights were on, he pressed the accelerator and drove towards Bagamoyo.
