Chapter XXXVIII.
In 2030, Nina and Alec travel to Brussels, Belgium and Tolochanez, Switzerland. This has more to do with Alec’s request than anything, however.
On Monday, June 17, 2030, Alec and Audrey travel from Jack Edwards Regional Airport (JKA), on American Airlines, to Miami International Airport (MIA), to Washington Dulles International Airport (DIA), on American Airlines.
From Dulles International Airport, Nina and Alec travel to Vienna, Austria, via Austrian Airlines. In Vienna, Austria, the couple spends two romantic nights together at the Hilton Vienna Danube Waterfront.
When they arrive at the Danube River, Alec and Nina walk arm in arm along the backside of the hotel.
They peer off towards the north, as Alec has done before, in 2003. Alec and Nina eat dinner at the Waterfront Kitchen. They enjoy the Austrian Filet Steak from the Alps, as well as the Calamari Aioli, with Pepperoncino, and a goblet of red wine.
Nina and Alec ascend to suite 723; they make-out at the doorway. Then Nina goes into the WC (Water Closet), and changes into her rose wine, satin halter teddy.
On Tuesday, June 18, 2030, Nina wakes up in Alec’s arms, still wearing her satin teddy.
After they shower together and get dressed, Alec and Nina go downstairs for breakfast. After breakfast, Nina and Alec sojourn to the heart of Vienna, via taxi. They have several sights they wish to see in Vienna that day.
Alec and Nina walk from sight to sight; they begin at the Schonbuhel Castle; then they tour the Imperial Palace (Hofburg); finally they visit the Spanish Riding School.
The couple eats lunch at T.G.I. Friday’s. Next, Nina and Alec return to the Krem City Gates. Then they view the Durnstein Castle. Then, Alec and Nina sojourn the Rathaus. Next they tour the Leopold Museum.
Nina and Alec dine that evening at Ristorante Fratelli. They depart early via taxi from their Hilton Danube Waterfront Hotel.
On Wednesday, June 19, 2030, Nina and Alec depart for Geneva, Switzerland (GVA). They travel from Vienna, Austria (VIE) to Geneve Aeroport (GVA), Switzerland, on Lufthansa Airlines.
Once Nina and Alec get through Passport Control, their find their luggage, and take a taxi to their hotel; the Park Hyatt Zurich.
Alec and Nina travel to Tolochenaz, Switzerland; they visit the gravesite of Audrey Hepburn.
