The best available medical facility near Gulf Shores is; South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, Foley, Alabama. Foremost place to shop is in Foley.
There is a series of shops, or outlets stores, called Tanger Outlets. Alec decides to pen several novellas before he and Nina decide on where they will take their next extended cruise.
The decision is left up to Nina, ultimately. She first makes a shortlist of three destinations, beginning with the Panama Canal, then moving on to Hawaii, then ending in Jamaica.
In May 2031, they decide that Honolulu/Waikiki takes the prime position. Nina and Alec have not been in the region for some time. The Panama Canal journey is Nina’s second choice.
What they decide on is to invite all of their children, and their children’s spouses to Hawaii, then to Los Angeles for one evening, with a fourteen night cruise ensuing.
To be fair, Alec contacts his travel agent immediately, and attains hotel reservations.
Alec schedules a Thursday, May 22, 2031 flight from Jack Edwards National Airport (JKA) to Miami International Airport (MIA) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), on American Airlines.
Ava and Nicholas depart from Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT), to Chicago O’Hare (ORD), to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), on Delta Airlines.
Eric and Andrea depart from Mobile Regional Airport (MOB) to Miami International Airport (MIA) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), on American Airlines.
Patrick and Trisha depart from Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) via American Airlines, to Miami International Airport (MIA) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Joshua and Bridget depart from Indianapolis International Airport (IND) via Delta Airlines, to Chicago O’Hare (ORD), to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Nina, Alec, Joshua, Bridget, Ava, Nicholas, Patrick, Trisha, Eric and Andrea all stay at the Embassy Suites LAX North, on Thursday night; five suites for five couples. They dine together at Aerobistro that evening.
It is an in-house diner located inside the Embassy Suites; Alec and Nina have dined there before.
They depart from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Honolulu International Airport (HNL), on Delta Airlines, first class, on Friday, May 23, 2031.
The first day they are in Waikiki, the group checks into Hyatt Place. Nina, Alec, Eric, Andrea, Joshua, Bridget, Patrick, Kate, Ava and Nicholas have dinner at Hy Steak House. They all discuss vaccination shots, passports, children and grandchildren.
