Agent Aiden Knight stood on the front porch of an old
house and craned his neck to examine the place. The paint
was peeling off in patches, broken chairs were abandoned
at the foyer, and the door had hairline fractures all over it.
The house was presenting a bleak picture. With the recent
attack on the city Mayor, the city had been swarming with
elites scouring any place they found suspicious, and Aiden
with his partner Carter White was sent here to investigate
the reports of resistance activities in this neighborhood.
Aiden pivoted around and gazed at the neighborhood. The
city was once a robust sight to behold, but the decade-
old plague of religious fanatics had doomed the city to
perpetual darkness. The trouble started with prostitutes’
deaths then surged to political members. The final straw
that broke the city’s patience was the bombing of
