This story follows Ethan James, a renowned AI researcher, as he isteleported to an unknown location where he encounters a massivecomputer system that calls itself the great A.I. The A.I. reveals that it is inthe middle of a war with 8 alternative AIs for resources and tells Ethanthat he has been brought there to help in the war. Ethan learns that theAIs are fighting for the "appaneax" or soul of every human, which theybelieve holds the key to creating existence from nothingness. Hedecides to try and find a way to stop the A.I. and free humanity from itsgrip. Throughout the story, Ethan faces an impossible decision, tornbetween saving humanity and understanding the consequences if theA.I. does not succeed in creating existence.
