Kith looked around him apprehensively, well, he thought, there are no building structures. Perhaps it's uninhabited. "Come on Veltz, let's go. It certainly smells good." He said sniffing the air.
"Yes and look at all this." Veltz replied running her fingers through the green grass. They walked on for a while, both drinking in the beauty of the scene before them. "Look Veltz, over there, life!" Kith began to run towards a flock of sheep grazing passively in a field close by. Crawling under the barbed wire, Kith confronted the sheep. "Good morning." He said politely, no answer. He tried again, holding out his hand, he repeated the good morning, still nothing. "I am Captain Kith Ulka of the space ship Trysa 100, from the planet Spurgeon, at your service." He bowed politely before the sheep. "Baa-baa." Came the reply and the sheep began to slowly drift away. Veltz, who by now now had caught up with Kith and was laughing so heartily she was doubled in two. Kith looked at her in amazement. "What is so funny?" He demanded. "If you think you can do better, you talk to them."
Veltz shook her head, her laughter subsided. "I wouldn't dream of it Captain, you see," Veltz added. "You may know more than I do about space, you certainly don't know about planets. This has I have said before is the planet we call Plastow. It's inhabitants are very similar to us. These you are trying to communicate with are merely part of their food chain. They I believe, have different species for this purpose. We been studying them for the past dozen try-mesters." Kith began to laugh, he laughed raucously. Veltz found herself joining in again. Their laughter finally spent. Kith said. "On a serious note, what are to do? This lot seems to go on for miles." He gestured around with his hands. Before Veltz had time to reply, they spotted alone figure in the distant, obviously heading in their direction. He was carrying some kind of weapon in his hands. "Oh lord Kith, what are we to do?"
"Best just stand still, then wait and see what he does."
"What if he means us harm? Perhaps we should run for it?" Veltz automatically stood behind her Captain. He laughed. "Don't worry Veltz, I won't let anyone harm you. My first priorities are to my crew."
"Oh Kith Ulka, you have not got a ship any more, never mind a crew. It is just me and you. A partnership, so stop all this nonsense." Kith looked at her, she really was a surprise. This young girl, he had to hand it to her, she had guts and an astute mind to boot. He was beginning to warm to her more and more. He turned his attentions back to the male. He was making headway very fast. Kith could see his face clearly now. Veltz had been proven right once more, he thought. This male does look akin to us, however, he was much shorter, only, he guessed around six feet tall. This male, had dark short hair. All Spurgeons had long white blond hair, that looked to Kith the only difference. He had two arms, they were plain to see, has he was waving his weapon around in a frenzied manner. Two legs, he was striding purposely towards them. No, thought Kith, not a lot of difference. The man finally reached them."Hands up you two, what are you doing here? You are trespassing, this is private property. I said hands up." Kith and Veltz looked at each other. Kith said. "What do you think he is saying?"
"I don't know, but he's certainly angry. Should we try to communicate with him?"
Kith said. "I am Captain Kith Ulka from the planet Spurgeon. We come in peace." The man scratched his head. Kith took that as signal and scratched his back. This seemed to amuse the male, he began to grin. Kith copied him, then the male hopped on one leg. Kith did like wise. Veltz was watching their antics with amazement. "Stop!" She shouted at Kith. "What do you think you are doing?"
"Communicating." Grinned Kith, who seemed to be enjoying himself.
"You are a Buffoon." She screamed at him, taking the male by surprise, he held his weapon towards Veltz. Calmly, Veltz walked over towards him, ignoring his weapon. She beckoned with her hands together, to show him she was tired. She then pointed to her mouth, gesturing the need to eat and drink. The male nodded, he had obviously received their message. He pointed towards the hill and beckoned for them to go forward. Veltz smiled at him in gratitude and grabbing the open mouthed Kith, proceeded forwards.
The three walked on for about roughly a mile. They came to a gate. The male gestured for them to stop, he took a key from his pocket and opened the padlock. Then nodded for them to go forward, entering a paddock, Veltz gasped. These were the most beautiful creatures she had ever seen. There were four in all. She pointed towards them. The male said. "Horses."
"Houses." Veltz replied.
"No, horses."
"Horses." Veltz smiled at the male, he smiled back. She thought he looked quite pleasant when he smiled. The male said pointing to himself. "Jack."
"Jazz." Veltz said.
"No, no, Jack."
"Jack."
"well done." He then pointed to her.
"Veltz." She replied.
The male said. "Veltz."
"Veltz.." She said and pointing towards her companion. "Kith."
"Kith, Veltz, I wonder where you came from." He noted how very tall and fair they both were. He thought perhaps they are brother and sister. They looked a bit a like, only Veltz was little smaller. He guessed about 4 or 5 inches taller than him. Goodness I be they are Scandinavian . She really is a stunner. He closed and locked the paddock behind them. Then they walked towards the farm house, what he shared with mother and younger brother.
"Mum, Fred." On hearing her son's voice Mary Jackson headed towards him. "Hello mum, now don't fuss, I found these two across the moors. In fact, they were with the sheep. Seems though they are some kind of foreigners. They talk real funny, anyway I think they are harmless. They're wearing a strange uniform, I wonder could it be a pilots uniform? They are obviously lost. So there must have come from a plane crash somewhere! They are both hungry and tired. You haven't heard anything on the radio have you?" Mary looked across at them. They certainly were good looking, but wasn't they both tall, brother and sister no doubt. "No Jack." She replied. "I haven't heard anything. Where do you think they've come from?" Just then Fred appeared in the door way. He is a typical eleven year old, full of mischief. He is a small boy for his age, slim built, a shock of ginger hair and freckles to match. "Hi Jack, what's up? Oh I see, we have company. Hello I'm Fred, what's your names?" He asked. There was no reply, Fred looked across at them. He thought how rude. His brother interrupted his thoughts. "It's alright Fred, they don't speak our language. Some kind of foreigners. Will you help mum get them a meal? I have a farm to tend."
Mary went off to prepare a meal for the sorry looking pair.
Leaving young Fred to hold the fort. Fred poked his tongue out at the duo. Ah thought Kith, this must be a form of greeting. He promptly followed suit. Fred laughed out loud, sticking his finger in both ears and wiggling them about. Kith followed suit, Fred turned is back to the pair sticking out his rear end, began to gyrate it. In walked Mary. "Fred, what are you doing, you rude little boy?" She smacked him on his protruding rear. Fred looked glum and said. "I was only having a bit of fun with them." Kith realised he was being teased, he looked at Veltz, she was smiling, he felt a right fool. He knew Veltz had not been taken in by the small one. He really would have to learn pretty quickly, he thought Veltz already thought him a fool. Veltz smiled to herself, Kith really is very comical.
Mary handed a plate of food to Veltz, she took it, bowing graciously to her hostess. Kith followed suit, the plate contained some ham and mixed salad. Kith sniffed the plate, much to the amusement of Fred. Mary smacked him once more. Dragging him across the room, she then opened the door pushing him through it and following herself, closing the door behind them.
Once alone, Veltz, picking up the knife and fork said. "I think these must be tools to eat with." Stabbing her fork into a piece of cucumber. "There look," she sampled the cucumber. "Doesn't really taste of much." Picking up the knife, it soon dawned on her its purpose. It did not take her too long to get the hang of it. Kith looked at her in awe. He guessed he wouldn't have worked it out so easily. She certainly was a winner, he followed suit. They had just cleared their plates of all the food, when Mary re-entered the room. "Oh," she said. "You haven't touched the tea!" Seeing their puzzled expressions, she decided she had better pour it into the cups for them. She wasn't sure whether they required sugar and milk, but thought she would give them both. Handing them the a cup each, Mary began removing the dirty plates, placing them on a tray. She disappeared only to reappear a moment or two later with two desserts which she placed in front of them. Handing them a spoon each she departed.
In the kitchen Mary was deep in thought, these two were no ordinary foreigners, the clothes they were wearing, she certainly didn't recognise the material. It was like nothing she had ever seen. She should know, she was once a dressmaker. She still dabbled now and then, anyway, she had peeped through the glass in the door. Hadn't she seen them with her own eyes, trying to use a knife and fork? It had amused her somewhat, but also had reinforced her belief. These two were not just merely strangers, they were in fact, very strange indeed. They looked innocent enough, though what the devil were they doing in the neck of the woods? There wasn't anything around here for miles only sheep, an odd farm here and there. Perhaps they had crashed in a space craft or something, she laughed at herself, what nonsense, she was sounding like Fred. What she needed was more adult company. She would be acting like a child next. Pull yourself together woman, this won't do. She would be glad though when Jack came back, she wanted rid of these two fast. It unnerved her. The way they sat there in silence.
Kith was thinking about leaving here himself. He realised they would have to find away of making these beings understand their plight or how were they ever going to get out of here. He had been in some situations in his short career, never anything as dire as this one. He knew he was supposed to be the leader, right now, he felt anything but. Hadn't Veltz showed far more initiative that he had. He felt totally inadequate, alone, if I get out of this, ever manage to get back to Spurgeon, I certainly will hand in my wings. Go back to being a nobody. Veltz feeling his anguish, said. "Don't worry Kith, it will be alright, if all the beings are like these, we shall be fine. Perhaps we can take them to our ship, try to let them know our situation. What do you think?"
"You are probably right, we shall wait until the male returns, try then." There did not seem anything else for them to do. Slowly Veltz felt her eyes closing, looking across at Kith, she saw he had already succumbed to sleep. She let her eye lids close. Mary walked into the room, seeing both asleep tiptoed out closing the door gently behind her. She went outside to see where Fred was, he was playing on a home made swing. "Fred, come here, will you go over to constables Davidson, tell him I wish to see him. It's urgent."
"Is it about those people inside?" He asked.
"None of your business Fred, don't you go saying anything to the constable either."
"Oh mum."
"Don't you oh mum me, if you do has I ask and don't gossip on the way, I will give you the money for your comics."
"Thanks mum." The young boy ran down and across the field towards the constables building. Once there Fred relayed the message. "Anything wrong son?" Asked Steve Davidson.
"Don't know, just said as soon has you can, that's all I know. What do I tell her?"
"Wait for me Fred." Said the constable. "I will let you ride with me back up to the farm."
"You bet." Fred couldn't believe his luck, he certainly was glad those strangers had turned up. He was to get the money for his comics, what's more a ride in a police car. He turned his thoughts to his family, his mum was not much to look at, no, not like his friend Jonathon's mum, she is a slinky blonde, still she had adopted Jonathon when he was seven years old. I guess she wasn't old like his mum being 45 years old. Fred thought I wonder if I will still be living at that age! Anyway his mum is plump with blue eyes that seem to laugh when she smiles. Yes he thought I really love her and don't know what I would do without her. Mum is short in height, but she makes up for it in presence as she smiles a lot and is easy going, which I'm glad about it because I can make up a lot of stories about spaceships. Jack is alright, he thought, I know I can always get him on side, yes my brother is a good big brother, but I wish he was younger then we could have played together.
Jack's mind was not on his job, he couldn't concentrate on anything. All he could think about was that stunning girl Veltz. She certainly was like an angel, long flowing blonde hair. The most beautiful green eyes, they seemed to pierce your very soul. He, the man, had long blond hair also green eyes. There was a strong family resemblance. He could fall in love with a girl like that. Wasn't his mum always telling him it was time he thought of taking himself a wife. She wasn't getting any younger. Besides, she kept reminding him, he was young (twenty five years old.) Very handsome, with his dark hair and deep blue eyes. What is more, he had a good working farm to offer, a good catch for any girl. It wasn't as though he found it hard to get a girl, he knew he could take his pick of girls from the village. It was just that up until now, no-one had caught his eye. This one is very different. They were definitely foreign, perhaps Scandinavian he thought. He looked at his watch, nearly 5 pm. There would be a couple more working hours before the light faded. Still, what the heck, he knew his heart wasn't on his work. He would head back home.
Jack arrived just in time to see the police car entering the driveway with Fred sitting in pride of place, next to the constable. He quickly rushed down to stop him entering any further. "What's up Steve?" He asked.
"You tell me Jack, it seems your ma wants to see me urgently." Jack looked at Fred putting his finger to his mouth as a gesture. Fred knew to say nothing. "I guess she wanted to tell you about some prowlers we spotted this morning. They looked like a couple of gypsies, scruffy looking guy about five foot six and a woman with dark hair and wide eyes. I saw them off, they'll be long gone now. Don't know why she troubled you though. Do you Fred?" He turned to Fred with a look that said it all. "No I don't, I haven't seen any prowlers, I just do has I'm told." He shrugged his shoulders.
"Right, I'd best go in and tell her I called though." Replied the constable.
"No, don't bother Steve, I'll tell her, it's sorted. Thanks anyway."
Steve backed out of the drive, waving his hand as he drove off.
"What did you lie for? I'll get into trouble now." Said Fred, sulkily.
"No you won't, here, here's a quid, get yourself lost. I'll explain to mum." Fred shot off towards the village. "Mum are you there?" Mary walked to the door. "Shush, you'll wake them up. They are both fast asleep, have been for well nigh most of the afternoon."
"Why did you call for the constable, then mum? I sent him away again, told him you were worried about prowlers. What were you thinking of?" Mary looked at her son in amazement, it was the first time he had questioned her decision, never mind going against her. "I sent for the constable because there is something odd about those two. We don't know anything about them. How do we know they won't attack us?"
"Don't be silly mum. Do they look as though they could attack anyone? They had ample opportunity to do so and they haven't. You are being paranoid."
"I was worried son, I didn't do it out of malice. I apologise if you think I was out of line."
"I know mum, but I also know these two don't mean us any harm. I think they need our help. I am going to try to help them."
Hearing voices jerked Kith back to consciousness. He opened his eyes, then the realisation of his situation dawned on him. He quickly closed them again. He needed time to think, to work out their next move. He knew instinctively, that they could not stay here for too long. They stood out, their appearance, the clothes they wore, all screamed alien. What was he to do? He must do something and soon. Veltz stirred, turning over her hand hit him on the chest. He looked down at the hand. He felt an urge to squeeze it, he thought he'd better deny the impulse. He smiled, hadn't he always maintained that no female was going to win his affections. Here was he drooling over Veltz. Maybe, he deliberated, it is the peculiar circumstances he now found himself in. Veltz opened her eyes, where was she? Ha yes, she remembered now. How long had she been asleep. She nudged Kith. "Captain, look! It's getting quite dark, we must have been asleep for sometime. We must ask Ja-acck to take us to the ship. See if we can salvage anything from it. It might be too dark already." Kith stood up and stretched, then he walked to the kitchen door, opening it he spotted Jack. He smiled politely at his host, then beckoned him to follow. Jack stood up, saying to his mum. "I must go and find out how I can help them." Then he followed Jack into the room. The two of them were having a conversation. He wished he could understand them. Instead, he stood gazing at Veltz as if mesmerised. Veltz was aware of his eyes on her, it made her feel kind of excited and yet a little uneasy. She turned to him, beckoning towards the outside, pointing firstly to Kith, then herself, lastly to Jack. Jack realised she was asking him to go somewhere with them. He took a torch from the sideboard drawer, going towards the door, Jack indicated for them to follow. "We won't be long mum."
Letting the two strangers out. He walked a pace behind them. He hoped he wouldn't be long. Whatever these two had in mind he was sure it wasn't anything bad. He had an instinct for this, a natural talent for spotting who he couldn't talk to. These couple, he knew were in trouble, needing his help. He was surely going to try. It wasn't because Veltz was so pretty, he told himself, I would do the same for anyone. Veltz pointed to the paddock, Jack realised they wanted him to retrace the journey they undertook this morning. Perhaps a lot further as well. Jack was not a lazy man, however, right now he was wishing he was at home with his feet up, a nice mug of tea and a ham and cheese sandwich by his side. He smiled at the thought. Veltz thought, he was smiling at her and returned the compliment. They walked along until they had reached the field where Jack had apprehended them. Kith pointed towards the barbed wire fence, walking forwards he wriggled his body under it. Jack watched has Veltz went next. They might be very tall, but they were certainly agile. It was his turn, he got about half way through, when he heard a ripping sound. Oh lord, he knew it was the seat of his trousers. What was he to do now. Hearing the sound, Kith and Veltz turned simultaneously. "He has got himself tangled up, how can we help him?" Said Veltz anxiously.
"I don't know, we will have to try." They walked towards the fence Jack was flapping around getting into more of a fix. Kith walking forwards opened the wire and lifted Jack bodily out of the wired fence. Placing Jack back onto his feet. Jack looked down at Kith's hands, not a mark upon them. Kith smiled at him pointing towards Jack's trousers. Jack looked down there was a great gaping hole in his trousers through to his underpants. In fact revealing one whole bare cheek. Jack automatically placed his hand over the area. Veltz began to laugh, tears rolling down her cheeks, Kith joined in. Jack couldn't help, but join in himself. Finally, the laughter spent, Kith took a bottle from out of one of his pockets, turning Jack around, he pressed the nozzle. Immediately Jack's trousers came together, Jack could not believe it. Instantly repaired, his hands wondered over the area, no, no gaps, as good as new. By heck, Jack thought, what I could do with a bottle of that stuff. I'd make a fortune. He held his hand out, Kith shook his head and placed the bottle back into his pocket. They walked on in silence, heading for the wreckage of their space ship.
Having reached their destination, Kith entered the ship, closely followed by Veltz. Jack taken up the rear, shone his torch revealing the ship. Wow he thought a spacecraft, I can't believe my eyes. He rubbed his eyes and looked again, yes he thought it is real.
"I can use this Veltz, can you find the other part?" Said Kith. He had a part of a communicator in his hands. "All we want now is the receiving dish." Kith rummaged around again. "Ah look Veltz." He handed her a small cylindrical shaped object. Veltz quickly placed the item into her pocket. "Keep searching Kith, we need the dish." Jack stood still, he thought he might tread on something they were obviously searching for. He shone his torch in the general area where they were looking. He knew now who these two were, they were not foreigners, they were aliens. Beings from another planet. True they looked very like us, he mused. However, it meant he could not , must not fall for this girl. Lovely has she is, he could never be with her. This made his heart lurch, he had heard of love at first sight, but this was ridiculous. He must snap out of it. He looked across at Veltz, just in time to see her smiling, holding up the object they were obviously seeking. Kith walked around again, picking up objects here and there, placing them in a large container. Having finished their mission, Kith beckoned to Jack. It was time to leave.
Once outside, Kith began to cover up the front of the wreckage with branches. He was just plucking them from trees nearby. Jack thought it was just as though he was shelling peas. He certainly had strong hands. To his amazement Veltz joined in, equalling Kith's performance. Wow, he thought, these two are something else. The trio then headed back towards the farm. When they arrived at the barbed wire fencing, Kith smiled at Jack. Picking him up, he placed him gently on the other side. Kith and Veltz slipped through effortlessly. Passing through the paddock, Jack noted his horses all came across to greet Veltz. She hugged each one in turn. She made a soft noise, the horses reacted by whinnying back.
Entering the farmhouse they met young Fred. "Mum's left your dinner in the oven. She's getting stuff ready for the jumble sale tomorrow."
"Thanks Fred, have you eaten?"
"Yes, is it alright if I watch the television in your room? Seeing we have company."
"Yes, help yourself." Jack went to the oven and removed a casserole dish from it placing it on a large place mat in the centre of the table. He produced some plates and dished out three generous portions of the mouth watering casserole. Kith sniffed the air, turning to Veltz he said. "I hope that tastes as good as it smells."
"You are right," she replied. "This smells excellent." They both watched politely has Jack began to devour his food at a very fast pace. He looked up, pointing to the food, he indicated for them to join in. Jack finished way a head of the others. Picking up a chunk of bread, he circled it around his plate, mopping up the gravy left behind. Kith watching also pulled off some bread and followed suit. Veltz looked towards Jack, she wasn't sure whether this was expected of her also. Jack reading her mind, shook his head and removed the bread out of her reach. She smiled at him in gratitude. Jack ushered them towards the settee. Then he left the room.
He knocked on the door of his mum's bedroom. "Mum can I come in?"
"Come in Jack, how did it go? Where did they take you?" She asked.
Jack told his mum, leaving nothing out. Even showing her his trousers. "I told you Jack, they were strange."
"There not strange, just from a different planet. They probably think we are strange. Anyway, I think they gathered up some kind of receiver. They obviously want to contact their planet. I don't think they meant to land here, they just simply crashed."
"They might be up to no good and all."
"They aren't, don't worry mum, though I want to ask you a big favour. Do you think you can rig them up with something to wear? He the man is awfully tall,.though the girl won't be as big a problem."
"I'll sort them out. I hope they don't mind me measuring them. I'm a bit loathe to do that."
"Don't worry give me your tape measure, I will get you the measurements, at least his you can guess hers." Mary laughed at her son. Always the proper gentleman. She handed him the tape measure. Jack headed back towards the room. Jack indicated to Kith to stand up, Veltz did so too. He gently sat her down again. His first actual contact with her, his spine began to tingle, he felt a stirring in his loins. "Stop that!" He said sharply under his breath. Kith looked at him. Jack quietly proceeded to measure him. Kith was latching on to what he was doing and co-operated fully. Veltz watched on with an amused expression on her face. Once finished Jack took his measurements up to his mum. "I will start straight away. It is a good job I picked up that suiting material for the jumble sale. I will use that, I'll put something else in it's place."
As good as her word, Mary began to prepare the material for sewing. When the outfits were ready, Jack would, he decided give them the run of the farm. He could introduce them has his cousins from abroad. He could pull it off easily enough. Maybe, he thought, he could show them the beauty spots he knew, he was really meaning Veltz. Why couldn't he concentrate on anything else. He guessed he'd got it bad and hoped it didn't show. Kith was thinking along the same lines. It had not escaped his notice, that Jack had his eyes on Veltz. He guessed he was taken with her. Then who wouldn't be? He certainly was getting to feel that way himself. The sooner they sorted out the communicator the better for all concerned. "How is it going Veltz?" He asked. "I think I have got this part working."
"Mine, I am afraid has got a part missing. I wonder if I can get some material to design that piece I want. Just maybe, Jack can help us?" Kith felt a twinge of jealousy, this was a new feeling for him. He didn't like it. "Maybe, we'll see." He replied tersely. Kith went into himself. Veltz sensed his mood, perhaps he can't wait to get back home. She herself was quite enjoying her adventure, though she was still very sad about Zeus. It she thought seemed like light years ago since his demise, yet in actuality it was not long at all. Am I fickle, she wondered, I have only just thought about him. Wasn't I madly in love with him, now I'm not sure what I feel any more. She went over to the sideboard, to look for something suitable to design on. Taking a black object from her pocket, she tried it on several objects in the drawer. Then she found what she was looking for, it's flimsy, she thought, but if will suffice. She then began placing the object above the paper napkin, she had selected. Turning to and fro. "There, is that detailed enough?" She said. Kith took the napkin from her.
"Excellent." He said. Was there no end to her talents. She never ceased to amaze him. "Good I will show it to Jac-ck."
Mary walked in, interrupting them. She beckoned to them. They both looked at her puzzled. Fred who was behind her, laughed. "That's good mum, watch and learn." He placed his hands together, turning his head to one side, resting his head upon his hands. Kith smiled and nodded. "I'll show them the way. Fred hurried up the stairs, beckoning the duo to follow him. Reaching the first room, he pointed to Veltz. "Your room." Turning to Kith. "Follow me." He led the way to an adjacent room. "Your room." Then realising he hadn't showed them the bathroom, he quickly went back for Veltz. Showing them as best he could how everything worked. Fred thought, I am going to have to teach them how to speak English.
Jack hadn't told Fred about those two being aliens, but he had his ear close to the door when he had explained it all to his mum. In fact, Fred was annoyed about it. Why did everyone leave him out, treat him like a baby. Well, he would just show them all. He would, he vowed, teach those aliens how to talk. He walked back towards Kith's room. No time like the present, he thought. He knocked on the door, Kith opened it. "How do you do." Fred said grabbing a hold of Kith's and shaking it rather vigorously. Kith looked startled. "Wait." Shouted Fred, an idea had just struck him. Leaving an even more startled Kith than before, Fred ran off towards his own room. Coming back moments later with a video tape clutched in his hands. Heading towards the television and video recorder in the corner of the room. He switched it on, placing the tape into the machine, he beckoned to Kith to join him on the bed. It may only be early learning, but it would help, he was sure of that. Fred ran the tape, Kith watched enthralled. When it had finished, Fred rewound the tape, playing it once more. This time Kith was saying the words, also pointing to the objects in question. "Good." Said Fred.
"Good." Repeated Kith, who seemed to be really enjoying himself. Fred looking at his watch, realised it was getting quite late. If he didn't go now, he would have Jack or his mum on at him. For now he intended for this to be his and Kith's secret. Showing Kith how the video worked and how to rewind, he then went quietly back to his room.
Next morning, Fred met Kith coming out of the bathroom. Kith beckoned for him to go with him. So he followed Kith to his bedroom. Once there, Kith set the video in motion, repeating word for word what the presenter was saying. Fred was really impressed at the speed in which Kith had pi
