4. Diagram 2 4.1. The designer’s logbook

An idea to design a mechanism, which would provide uniform rotation of a shaft driven by a spring or some other type of motor. This could be a DC electrical motor. Ii is doubtful if a DC motor supplied by a battery could provide an absolutely uniform (constant) angular speed of the driving shaft. The clock mechanism should have a reliable speed controller. The electrical motor could lead to unacceptable rotation speed variations when using a low-power supply electrical battery [3].
