PHILOSOPHY OF A SUPERSTAR

Superstars are philosophers. They develop their own set of beliefs either from their personal practical experiences or from their search for knowledge. For some years, I’ve being understudying some of the biggest religious movements across the world. They are actually movements propagating the philosophy of their founders, often one person who believed he had a supernatural encounter. This person was able to convince people to think the way he does because of some benefit he had achieved which he believes others can achieve too.

What I’ve observed about this founders is a similar philosophical thinking that characterizes their though pattern. They think alike in propagating their individual philosophies. They think the superstar way.

They think originality. They think that there is something original about their thought that isn’t supplied by others. They tell you they are succeeding some way not because they are following some other person’s band wagon.

They offer incentives. These men convince people to follow them by offering them some benefits. They put something mouthwatering as a prize with the hope that it could be the bait to get people to join them.

They expect strict compliance. Incentives only go to those who heed attentively. They build a system for rewarding ardent followers. This spurs others to follow too.

They create prestige. Positions are offered and responsibility is transferred down the line to those lower so that they feel part of the system. They make their followers feel very important and very much part of their philosophy by allowing them have a part to play in the philosophy creating office and giving the followers chance to grow into the office.

They are accountable. They develop a system of being accountable to those who follow them by checking on them from time to time to see how they do. They may not do it themselves but they develop a system to make this possible.

They show passion. They are passionate about what they do. Once they’ve developed their belief, you can’t convince them otherwise. They are fuelled with enthusiasm and expect their followers to tow the same line.

They are zealous. They sacrifice time and resources in propagating their belief and they teach others too that if they live a life of sacrifice, they’d benefit. They give up family and friends just to ensure what they are set at doing works.

What does it take to develop your own philosophy?

  • Develop conviction: you have to believe what you believe provided you think it is right. People may try to convince you otherwise. Stay put to what you think
  • Be convinced: make your philosophy work to the point where you believe that you are actually achieving something. Others may try to convince you to do something else but if you have to define your own philosophy work on it till it becomes better.
  • Develop self-control: superstars control themselves. You don’t have to jump at every bit. You have to sit and reason out and get your own solutions based on what you believe.
  • Develop a culture: don’t jump in and out of an idea intermittently. Work your thought till it works and then make it a process that others can imbibe and obtain the same result as you have. Make what you think a processed culture and the world will be running after you in no time.
  • Develop your code. Create some mystery. Don’t just walk on the ordinary, act like there is some extraordinary source for your capacity. Make people act in a certain way around you. This should be the only code to attract your attention.
  • Be calm and collected. Superstars are often calm in spite of great attention that surrounds them. They don’t go gaga or lose their cool at the least provocation. They revel in a somber tranquility that evokes some mystery about them.

The mystic that surrounds superstar isn’t just the hunger for the attainment of the status but the reserved way in which they get at achieving it. Spend time developing your mental capacity. You can become a god.

Your path to becoming a superstar requires that you study to develop your brain. You have to believe what you believe because you can develop enough proofs to show that it works and you can convince people too.

If people don’t get convinced about how you think, it cannot become a philosophy. There must be a rational and empirical process or procedure to prove that what you think and practice works. The world is waiting to have your method and style. It could cause a revolution.
