STAY ATHLETIC

 

No one wants to be sick or die at the moment of his stardom. You want to enjoy your status when you get there. This can only be achieved when you stay healthy. This is every ones utmost desire especially when you are beginning to benefit from life.

Mike Murdock says his secret to staying healthy and young is exercise, David Oyedepo says he jugs every morning round his Canaan city, Bill Gates has an itinerary that includes visiting the gym, and Obama exercises often. These superstars are doing these, why not you? If you want to keep influencing for long, here is the way out.

The quality of life that superstars enjoy could make them lazy, spend time eating and become chubby. These could shorten your lifespan. As much as one could be known for being fat, you don’t become a superstar for it. Why risk being overweight and lose your freedom and capacity to get things done when you can control it now by exercising.

At the university, I joined a group of lecturers who took to running around the university campus every morning. We often ran for an hour and did some aerobics. It helped because I saw the lectures respond actively in school activities.

I frequented a popular gym in a city I had visited. There were tens of persons who were busy at staying fit, many of them were big sized and from the higher class of society. They were foreigners and CEOs of companies. They almost shared the same problems, high blood pressure. I saw reasons why my slim size was the perfect size for me.

In situations of emergency, a fit person could jump off the window in one swing while it could be quite difficult for an oversized person. I’m not stating that being fat is bad; I mean one could be fat yet fit.

The brain works fast. Exercise enables the blood flow around the brain and helps it work at a higher capacity. This allows one to do a lot of brainstorming and efficient develop thought through solutions for a problem.

Doctors claim that exercises allows the excretion of germs and keeps the body’s blood stream free from pathogens that clog the blood vessels across the body. Exercising the body makes one much younger than his age can tell, worn out tissues repair in the process.

Play sports. You don’t have to be a professional and you don’t have to be noted for being a sports person. You could play street football, volleyball, handball, tennis as a pastime. You can take a long trek. I do this often. It could be very exasperating but it has huge health benefits.

Visit gyms around your city. There are plenty of them if you check. Better still, you can own gym equipment for personal use. That’s best if you don’t have all the time to run around the gyms.

Don’t become too official. Many have become too official to take precautions that could have saved their lives

Drink lots of water. Doctors prescribe that taking clean water first in the morning and last at night cleanses the blood stream and enables the production of blood.

Mind what you eat. Avoid too much fat and chocolates. Take balanced meals. What you eat tells on your productivity when on the run. The body needs lots of vitamins to ward of sickness.

Give yourself quality time to rest. You need to rest when you have labored. You are not Jackie the workaholic, don’t try to be one. As much as it is great attribute to be one, it is a deadening attribute.

Stay hygienic, wash your clothes often, keep your environment clean, bath often and stay refreshed.

Avoid drugs. Cocaine and other hard drugs are very harmful to your health being. Stay off smoking too. However stimulating it is, you will be dying slowly.

Avoid beverages with high caffeine. Stay away from alcohol as much as you can. Get a personal doctor and do check with the doctor from time to time. Avoid inappropriate sexual relationships. Keep one sexual partner and that means be married.

Eat fruits, it provides you with the needed vitamins and fiber to keep you strong and healthy. Avoid performance enhancing drugs, you’ll be giving up tomorrow for the ecstatic joy of today.

Find time to visit the movies, enjoy a comedy show, spend time with your family and hang with friends and colleagues in the cool evening. You could visit the beach or take a break to an island and go fishing.

Play music and make out time to unwind, it could be very healthy. Give yourself a break from the normal routine. All work and no play makes jack a dull boy but don’t make all the time for play.

Learn to live a balanced life, stay healthy, and stay athletic. If you die young, everyone loses.
