New planets are continually discovered by training the telescope on a patch of sky far across the galaxy.
Planets have been found that can orbit their stars’ in only ten hours. This means the orbits are so close to their stars they are heated to more than sixteen-hundred degrees. If their home stars were any bigger, the planets would evaporate.
