What do I say when the interviewer asks me

whether I have any questions?

This is almost always a sign that the interview is drawing to a close and that you have one more chance to make that impression.

Now you can impress the interviewer with a good choice of prepared questions. Think carefully when asking questions and make sure they are relevant to the industry, the market, the company and the role you are interested in. Ask questions at a general level, and try to save the best question for this part of the interview. If you did not get a chance yet to show the knowledge you have of the company, now is your chance. Say what you know, and ask related questions. It is always good to mention that you have studied the company’s annual report or looked at the website. Consider remaking on any substantial progress the firm has made within the past year or cite an area of company involvement that interests you.

Ask as many job-related questions as possible, as this will give the interviewer the impression that you are keen and knowledgeable. It will also help you understand the role and take a mental photograph of the position.
