You will be able to create the future that you dream of, make the money you want, meet the love of your dreams, leave in your dream house and help as many people as possible.
I grew up in the beautiful highlands of Kenya in Nyanza region; a place where farming is the main activity and the main source of livelihood. Whether animal rearing or crop farming, they both taught me daily; what have become very valuable and applicable lessons that am going to share with you in this book. Very few farmers go to college to learn how to farm yet this people feed so many people. It means that you don't need the knowledge of rocket science to achieve your desired dream.
“…if you try to walk on water, Whether you are good or bad you will sink”
A farmer knows how to get the best; he knows you wont harvest if you don't plant, he knows the right seasons, he knows the best seed, the best breed, and the best practices. He knows the best time to tend, water, weed and harvest. These powerful yet simple practices have been applied in life and brought tremendous outcomes. It is about the simple principles being learnt, repeated, applied and shared that will let you live a more fulfilled life and achieve your dreams the way you want them.
Farming is governed by principles, and so is life. A cruel farmer who follows the right practices and principles of farming will outdo a generous farmer who ignores all the principles and does things the wrong way. Being a good person is a good thing but it doesn't mean that you don't do things right.
Life is governed by principles. Just like the law of gravity works on everyone whether they are good or bad, so does all other principles. Just because you are good you wont be able to defy these laws and vice versa i.e. if you try to walk on water, whether you are good or bad you will sink. In other words if you do something the wrong way and yet you are good person, you will be surprised that your outcome wont be better than that of a bad person who did things right.
In any system, there the input, the process of working and then the output. If the input is wrong or not good enough, no matter how hard you work or how excellent you work, your production (output) wont be good enough; in fact it will be against your expectation. Your input will determine the output. However, the phrase „against our expectations is not an ideal truth, because somewhere it was either good input then bad process or vice versa that must have caused the unexpected outcome. If you make a bad choice you get bad results and vice versa.
In this life there's always a process going on. There's a season taking place each moment in life; the planting season, the growing season and the reaping season. If then everything works out in this formula, then you can agree with me that without sowing you cant reap. Therefore, if you don't want to reap then don't go sowing and am not sure you want to live that way. What if you sow but you don't want to go through the process of growing (which is the season of waiting), then you will end up disappointed and start thinking of how unfortunate you are, and how much your family has always been a failure, you then start coming up with excuses of why it'll never work or why it never worked.
God has given us power to choose and live the life we want. I’ve also realized one important thing, that besides the steps of the production of anything we want being three i.e. input, growing then output, we have been given an easy work of only sowing, waiting & then reaping.
That means that one step in the system has been eliminated by a higher power who also gave us the right to choose the kind of life we want. It means that if he eliminated this step, it doesn't mean that its no longer there; it means that its him who is now taking care of the larger part of the 2nd step. He took over the complex part of knowing how its going to work and he left us with a small task in the 2nd step of production –just cultivate.
So if we have the power over the 1st step then it means that if you don't like the life you're living now, then its your fault. Since today is the fruit of what you planted yesterday. To most of us it happened by default that's why you are saying, could I have chosen to live like this today? The answer is YES! If you have the power to choose your production tomorrow then you should now choose the seed to plant. „You shall reap what you sow is a principle whether you are good or evil if you plant maize you'll reap maize.
The most important thing here is to know what to sow then sow it and don't worry a lot of how it will grow. You are asking, 'what do you mean that I shouldn't really worry on how its going to happen. Let me share an example here, when a farmer wants profit he decides on what exactly will give him the profit he requires and that to which will do well in his field. He then makes the arrangements, and all the necessary preparations to sow the seed i.e. to give the seed a good start. He ploughs and now the field is ready for the seed. He then sows it i.e. he puts the seed under the soil.
The farmer does not go home thinking about how the seed is going to grow. He comfortably knows that he has played his part well now it is for the seed itself to see how it will germinate. This is exactly saying that there's another supreme power that is beyond the farmer that should figure out how the seed will germinate. The farmer then checks the field to see whether the seed has germinated each day. Another thing the farmer doesn't do is to open up the ground to see how or whether the seed is germinating because this will kill the seed.
As the seedling grows the farmer makes sure that no weed comes near it. He protects it from herbivores and passersby who may step on it by setting boundaries. He doesn't pull or stretch the crop to grow; only God can do it. If he had to mix the water and nutrients in proportion and then feed the plant every day & night, then he will be doing the toughest job ever.
Someone else does it for him. Someone who is more powerful and his name is God. God is the creator of all things and he takes care of the „process of growing and all the farmer has to do is to be there for the crop and manage its growth and eventually when its ripe hell harvest it and if he managed it wisely, he will make a very good profit out of it after selling. The harvest yielded a profit because it is always more than the seed.
In this book I shall talk about you, your part to play and your role in transforming your life and those of others around you. You might have fallen or chosen the wrong path before, but that doesn't mean you are finished. For you to see the change you want in the world you must first become that change.
The difference between the rich & the poor is that the rich know what the poor don't. Their difference is in terms of information and by the end of this book you will clearly know YOU, embrace YOU & use YOU. Since God has given us everything we need for this life and if we are not happy of whom we are then there's something standing on your way, and that is you.
This is for everyone who feels that they are big inside and that there's something for them to do, a life for them to live & a life for them to change; someone with a big dream and no resources, someone who is almost giving up and someone who still believes that there is a way out and finally for someone who has tried everything and it is not working out.
Knowing that you have such a power within, knowing how to harness it and turn it into great fortunes for you and the ones around you will all be in vain if you stop there at knowing. The secret that will change your life in a short while is choosing to make a decision to change for the better. Desire to learn how but most importantly, make a choice to become wealthy and put into action what you will learn.
Welcome and May your life never be the same again!
