I have been asked by my beautiful, talented, creative, quirky daughter to write a bio for her.  Not sure what I should say.  I can write the usual mundane bio of going by chronological age, but I do not think that would fit her eclectic personality.

So here goes.

Kaye is unique, beautiful inside and out, creative, kind, giving, strong, and somewhat impatient at times.  She has always walked to her own beat.  This has made life difficult for her at times, but she is strong.  She picks herself up, dust off the crumbs, and move on. I do admire her for that resilience. We almost lost her twice within the space of two years, but to look at her now, one would not know that.  Her inner strength and physical strength pulled her through.  She only cried once throughout both ordeals, and that was when we thought they would have to give her the antibiotics through her neck when the needle fell out of her arm.  Thankfully they did not have to do that, she was on the mend, so the doctor decided that she did not need anymore.

She has enjoyed writing and drawing and being creative from an early age and this has stayed with her throughout her numerous career changes.  She loves to travel, experience new and exciting things and places.  She is never in one place too long.  This is what we Jamaicans call 'scatter foot'.  This is said with loving admiration.  She  hates regimentation, it is surprising that she stayed in the army seven years, but to her credit she did, and did it successfully.

Kaye has matured into a beautiful, caring, giving woman and we love her very much.
