According to the ancient tradition, men and women marry around the age of 25, have children, and earn money to support the family and the community. This stage of life is called “Gruhasthāshram”. There are many responsibilities associated with this stage of life.
It is a time for taking care of elderly parents, raising children and selfless service ( Yagna) for the society, country and the world at large. Needs of the family are taken care of first and then it is extended to relatives, friends, community, the country and the world.
