I know a person he donated huge funds for the construction of a temple in a village. He did this exclusively when people were against many of his bad deeds. So that people don’t revolt against him and also don’t question his deeds. The intentions of some people may not be explicit, but they are understood by all and unsaid.

Some countries donate grants and loans to specific countries, one of the underlying things is that they want the solidarity of that particular country in case of conflict of their own interest. The other interests could be such as that this particular country has many natural resources which could be exploited through contracts and agreements at a later period. Or have access to the cheap labour from that country for its own economic progress. One day the donor country might declare an unjust war on some other country and wants the solidarity of allies.

One person procured many historic antiques and artefacts from international auctions, belonging to his country bought from the illegal money that he earned. It does not mean that he could be exempted from the biggest financial crime committed and absconding.

A person who is going to have a drinks party with friends till late in the night will behave very good with the life partner. Before committing something bad, people try to show the world how good they are. It is the price that they are paying to mask their sins and get the support of the people for their unjust things.

A politician with least integrity tries to win the elections not by his character and deeds but by offering the voters money, wine, food, freebies, and showing alliance with caste, colour, religious sects, fake promises and policies.
