About the Author

Jeremy Tyrrell is a Software Engineer by day and an Author by night, and a father somewhere in the middle of all of that. He was born in Western Australia, not that he knew so it’s best not to hold that against him, because he grew up in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

He has spent a lot of time in the service of humanity; a burger boy at MacDonald’s, a janitor for a trucking company, a tutor of mathematics and physics, a freelance programmer, it’s a rich tapestry filled with coffee stains, open wounds and regrets.

Happily married, whether he likes it or not, he’s an advocate of hard work and believes that the reward of a finished product borne of a job well done beats the stuffings out of false praise and sycophantic adulation. He’s also not a fan of hyperbole.

Jez, as he’s known to his friends and family, can’t help but write about the human side of things, the raw stuff that we think about when we’re alone in the shower. He’s also a fan of octopuses, ghosts and science fiction, which explains Tedrick Gritswell, Paranormology and Adaptation.
